Onofrio Salon

Onofrio arrived in Torquay from Italy on May 21, 1961 with a haircut and suit as sharp as the scissors he travelled with, started work the next day and opened Onofrio Salon in November 1962; he styled Torbay's most dapper men through the 1960s–80s, embracing each decade's trends, and in the late 1990s his son took over, expanded the salon and trained colleagues in the family ethos of technique, precision and suitability.
