Opened in 1999 in Hockley, Twenty Eight opened a flagship in central Notts in July 2011. Created as a fun, easy-going and less sterile alternative to unisex salons—described by FHM as 'bridges the gap between sterile unisex salons and the provincial barber'—it offers contemporary, relaxed surroundings with cuts, colours and proper cut‑throat shaves, a resident DJ on Saturdays, and affordable prices.
