Barber King was founded by Senol, who grew up in Izmir, Turkey and began barbering at age eight; he brought his family‑handed Turkish skills — including ear flaming and hot‑towel treatments — to the UK in 2007 by opening his first shop in Tonbridge, growing to three shops with a close‑knit team and clients such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Rio Ferdinand and Ulisses World.
